Men's Trunks

Trunks take inspiration from the styling of a boxer brief, but will have a much more square shape on your body due to their significantly shorter leg length, offering less material coverage. They operate, effectively, as a mid-point between a traditional brief and a boxer brief - with briefs having no leg material at all and boxer briefs extending down to just over half-way down the thigh. Trunk legs should extend to about third of the way down your thigh. Otherwise, they offer the same level of comfort and support as a pair of boxer briefs - holding your package softly in place, while giving you a bit of material length on the leg to play with and help fight the chafe. Men’s trunks should fit snugly on your body but should not be tight in any area. The material should sit close to your skin so everything is comfortably held in place - including the crotch area. You should feel comfortably contained within the material. There should not be any pinching or tightness at all across the trunks - especially at the waistband. You should be able to easily slip two fingers between your skin and the waistband. No matter the thickness of the waistband on your trunks, it should never be digging into your skin. The same goes for the leg holes. If you find that the leg holes dig into your thighs, you’ll need to go for a bigger size.

As trouser waist sizes in the UK are usually measured in inches, you can look at the inside label of your most comfortable pair of trousers to find out your waist size in inches.
