Data Transparency Notice – We’ve Taken Over the Shop

(Updated November 2025)

Hey, it’s Chris here – the guy who just bought the shop.

We’ve moved everything over to a new company called PNS 2025 Ltd (that’s us). Nothing else changes for you – same website, same stock, even the same people packing your pants!

Here’s the proper plain-English version of what the law says we have to tell you when customer details move to a new company:

Who is now in charge of your data? PNS 2025 Ltd (registered in England & Wales, 16838992). The data controller (the person legally responsible) is Chris Markham. You can reach me any time at chrism@pantsandsocks.com
Where did we get your info from? From the previous owner of the shop when we bought the business (your name, email, address, order history, sizes, etc.).
Why are we allowed to use it? • To fulfil any orders or returns you already have – that’s just normal contract stuff. • To keep the shop running exactly as before (account login, wishlists, recommending sizes, restock alerts, and sending you offers on men’s underwear and socks) – we’re doing this under “legitimate interests” and the UK soft opt-in rule for existing customers.
Do you have to let us email you offers? Nope. If you’d rather we only ever email about actual orders and nothing else, just click the “No thanks” link in the email we sent you (or unsubscribe in any future email, or write to us and tell us) and we’ll switch marketing off instantly. Takes one click, no hard feelings.
Your rights (you’ve always had these) • See everything we hold about you • Ask us to correct it • Ask us to delete it • Object to us using it for marketing (we’ll stop immediately) • Complain to the ICO 
How to use your rights or complain Just reply to any email or write to customerservice@pantsandsocks.com – we’ll sort it within a month (usually the same day).
How long do we keep your info? As long as you still have an account or we think you might order again (usually 3–4 years of inactivity and then we delete or anonymise it), just like any other shop in the UK.
Do we send your data anywhere dodgy? No. Shopify (our shop platform), Klaviyo (emails), Royal Mail / DPD (delivery) – all the usual UK/EU partners with proper contracts. Anonymised data is used by Google (IE) for running Google Ads, and that's about it.
18+ only (we only sell men's sizes anyway).
