Now, that would be telling, wouldn’t it?

Product Information

Pants: What are the different fits?

Boxer

Classic underwear – popular since your dad was a lad, if not before, and so called because they are similar to the shorts worn by boxers. Simple really. Normally made of pure cotton and loose fitting, they let the air circulate and your moving parts, well … move. Often designed with a button fly, boxers generally sit on your hips and reach over the tops of your thigh. Allegedly good for your sperm count.

Boxer Brief

The modern classic. A variation on the original boxer but made from stretch fabric – often cotton with a touch of elastane, or alternatively modal, which is softer, with a silkier to touch. The cut is more fitted, giving some support and definition with a closer fit on the thigh. Generally worn higher on the hips to show off the waistband.

Trunk

Shorter in the leg than the boxer, the trunk is designed for comfort and fit, holding everything in place and giving extra definition. Normally made from stretch cotton or modal with added elastane, the cut is more forgiving than the boxer brief and is ideal for the more developed, muscular thigh.

Brief

Also known as hipsters this is the reduced version of the original Y-front. Designed for comfort and fit, briefs keep everything in place. Normally made in stretch cotton or modal, they are ideal for the man who doesn’t like too much fabric – they sit below the hips and are cut high up the thigh.

Thong

This is all about keeping your package in place – and nothing else. Designed for maximum exposure with comfort as necessary. Ideal for the guy who wants show off his well-toned body – including his glutes! Made from stretch-cotton or modal. Leaves little to the imagination, but when you’ve got this far who need to imagine anything.

Socks: What are the different cuts?

Trouser

The modern classic of the sock world. Look for cotton and cotton-rich for comfort and breathability. Designed to sit above the ankle and with an elasticated top to keep it in place, this is the canvas onto which you can paint your mood: dark and sober for the restrained business look to bright and jazzy to add some personality, and all points in-between. The trouser sock might be a basic but it is still all about personal taste and style.

Ankle

Ankle socks are perfect for sneakers and trainers. The sock is cut to sit below the ankle but with enough fabric showing to prevent rubbing around the rim of the shoe. A very clean look and good to wear with shorts or on any other occasion you want to show your well-turned ankles.

No Show

Perfect for those days when you want to show-off your ankles or appear as if you are wearing no socks at all. The no show sock contains the moisture and ensures your feet don’t slip around inside your shoe. Great with loafers and other leather footwear. Go for a colour to tone in with the upper.

Athletic

Designed for a sportier look but wearing them shouldn’t be confined to the gym or the track. Perfect with jeans and more casual trousers – a relaxed look for those off-duty moments.
